Living Wisconsin Legends Lou and Peter Berryman have graciously agreed to perform at a benefit concert for the LE Phillips Senior Center in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Come and enjoy Peter's humorous lyrics and Lou's foot-tapping melodies as they play and sing their original songs about Wisconsin and life in general.
Lou and Peter met in a high school art class in Appleton, Wisconsin, and eventually married while still developing their musical talents. They divorced after a few years, but remained good friends, and their continued musical partnership quickly gained enough momentum for them to quit their day jobs and devote themselves full time to writing and performing their songs.
The Berrymans have been commissioned to write and record songs for the Wisconsin Historical Society, Wisconsin Public Television, the UW Foundation, and other non-commercial entities.
You may have heard Lou and Peter Berryman on A Prairie Home Companion or seen them at one of the many concerts they have given since the 1970's. They've toured the country and released 18 albums of their original music and, while they have never sought fame in the sense that word is generally used, they have become beloved in the world of the acoustic folk music of everyman.
