Scandia Rocks and Rolls - Fall Edition
Cycling Scandia says: Exercise your mind and body! Join us for an informative bike ride with a University of Minnesota geologist, Dale Setterholm on a fifteen-mile ride through the beautiful rolling hills of Scandia, MN. Information packets on the geology of this area will be provided so you can follow along at each of the five stops. Some geological sites are at the bottom of hills and some at the top - so be prepared for a few challenging hills. This is a no-drop ride for cyclists 18+. Helmets are mandatory and cyclists are responsible for their own equipment. Safety vests will be provided by Cycling Scandia. The tour has two start times: 9:30 AM and 1:30 PM please specify which time you would like. Only 12 riders per start time so sign up quickly to save your spot! The ride starts in the parking lot of the Scandia Community Center and ends at Gammelgarden Museum with pie and refreshments! Non-refundable with a rain date of October 6th.
