CMSCVA's Winter Music concert set opens with a program of music about time. The passing of the four seasons is brought to life in music by 19th century composer Carl Fruehling and Lithuanian composer Onatu Narbutaite. Concepts of time are further explored in the "Clock" Symphony of Haydn and a piece by American composer Roger Zare inspired by the theories of Albert Einstein. With pianist Rieko Aizawa, flutist Mary Boodell, clarinetist Jared Davis, violist Max Mandel, violinist Jesse Mills, cellist James Wilson and Richmond Symphony concertmaster Daisuke Yamamoto.|
