Get ready to experience a night of high-energy performances for all ages from some of the most exciting up & coming talent in todays music scene. Headlining will be 2-time ECMA nominee & Glace Bays own Mitchell Bailey, who at 21 years of age, has charted as high as #4 in the country with his latest album releases & has played multiple major festivals throughout North America. Hell be backed by Quinn Palmtree to create an entirely innovative cross-genre live experience like never before. This evening of entertainment will also feature special guests along with live DJ entertainment.
About Mitchell Bailey:
Mitchell Bailey, 21 years old, hailing from Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, is rapidly becoming the voice of any youth whose idea at one point seemed totally unrealistic and ridiculous. On July 20th, 2017, he released his debut commercial project "Last Time Introducing Myself", which peaked at #46 on the Canadian Hip-Hop charts on iTunes, achieving critical success such as recently being nominated in the "Hip-Hop Album of the Year" category for the 2018 East Coast Music Awards. To date, Mitchell has headlined three tours across Eastern Canada, along with being featured on various showcases during SXSW in Austin, A3C in Atlanta, & NXNE in Toronto, & POP Montreal. His previous release "Season One" was the initial installment of a series of projects that will be released throughout the next upcoming months, focusing around the music video snippets Mitchell is currently releasing onto his social media platforms. "Season One" peaked at #6 on the iTunes Hip-Hop Charts in Canada, & #18 throughout all genres. On November 23rd, Mitchell released his highly anticipated, follow-up project "Season Two" which featured production from frequent collaborator Nookie Beats, & Rap/Electronic Duo "Kin Crew", along with additional support from vocalists Christina Googoo & Sarah Ellen Morrison. "Season Two" peaked at #4 on the iTunes Hip-Hop Charts in Canada. Mitchell recently received his second ECMA nomination for "Season One", making it two consecutive years being considered for "Rap/Hip-Hop Album of the Year".
