SISTERS OF SWING: The Story of the Andrews Sisters
THE SHOW:  SISTERS OF SWING: The Story of the Andrews Sisters follows Minnesota-born sisters LaVerne, Maxene and Patty Andrews from their early days on the road in the 1930s, through their rise as recording stars entertaining American GIs overseas in WWII, to disassembling over differences. The musical intermingles over twenty hit songs like Bei Mir Bist Du Schon, Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree and Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy. This show goes beyond the ordinary to offer a unique perspective into these women as human beings, showing how the events of their lives shaped who they became to the rest of the world.

THE EXTRAS:
--Audio-Description available on Saturday, July 20th! Plus, large-print show programs available!
--Join us for a SWING DANCE after the Saturday shows! We'll have a swing dance instructor to teach some steps, and we'll dance until 11pm! (Saturday shows only. No extra charge to dance!)
--Purchase concession foods that mimic those served in the 40s at the Stage Door Canteen!
--See an exhibit of Andrews Sisters memorabilia and World War II artifacts!
