ALIAS - May 2009
The final concert of the 2008-2009 ALIAS season features a wide variety of composers, ensembles, and styles. Hear a solo harp piece by Tailleferre, works for cello quartet by Enrico Mainardi and Matt Walker, and music for winds and percussion by Michael Kallstrom and Anders Astrand. The first year of the Emerging Voices series comes to a close with music by Baroque composer Isabella Leonarda and a string quartet by Fanny Mendelssohn.
All proceeds from the concert will benefit the Shade Tree Family Clinic.
