The Lazy Suns
If you took the Flying Burrito Brothers, the Beatles, Townes Van Zandt, Tom Petty, and Hank Williams and put them all together in a stewing pot to simmer you would have The Lazy Suns.
The Lazy Suns features four seasoned musicians and singer-songwriters who have spent most of their lives performing all over the United States.

Marc Clayton and Rick Morse (pedal steel and slide guitar) formed The Lazy Suns in 2010 to express their love of rocked-up Americana with an alt-country twang. Jeff soon thereafter answered an ad that Marc posted only to quickly discover that Rick and Jeff had played together in The Coal Palace Kings. Marc and Jeff proved to be a powerful writing team, bringing their own songs to bounce off of one another and collaborating for joint writing credits. Marcs tight pop sensibilities combined with Jeffs eclectic themes bring a familiar yet deep mystery to the broad range of themes in their repertoire. Nick joined in 2013 having played in the alt-country cover band The Double Knots with Marc and Rick. Ed joined in 2015 having played with Nick and Rick in various bands over the last 15 years. Sadly Rick passed away in 2016 but the band carries on his vision and is honored to have world-class pedal and slide player Kevin Maul on this gig.
In 2016, the band released their long-awatied, self-titled 14-track CD, also known as Bar Hotel Music. The CD contains the track Find Your Way, which was licensed to the National Geographic Channels The Yard that same year.
The Lazy Suns released a six song CD 2012. That year they also announced their licensing deal with Amygdala Music / Original Productions placing the song Troubled Sea on the Discovery Channels Deadliest Catch.
