Gatsby Gala with Sundae + Mr. Goessl

Acclaimed Seattle Vintage Jazz Duo, Sundae + Mr. Goessl will headline this Gatsby-themed Gala to benefit the LCSC Concert Choir's trip to sing in New York this June. East Coast Swing Dance on site from 6.45-7.30pm, with the event beginning at 7.30pm. Music, dancing, photo booth, silent auction, cash bar, and snacks. Costumes encouraged, but not required. Silent auction closes at 9pm. Tickets must be purchased in advance through the LCSC Humanities Office ($25.00 each). This event is a sponsor of the Dogwood Festival.

"Sundae + Mr. Goessl features award-winning vocalist Kate Voss (Earshot Magazine's Vocalist of the Year, two-time Seattle-Kobe Vocal Jazz Princess) and Seattle's most versatile virtuoso guitarist, Jason Goessl. This charming husband/wife duo incorporates humor, vintage style, interesting instrumentation, nostalgia and serious chops in their act. Awarded Best Jazz Act of 2017 from Seattle Weekly, this industrious couple has produced 5 albums since their inception in 2014 and enjoys "living the dream" as full-time musicians performing 300+ shows/year! Bringing back the sounds from a by-gone era and spreading the joy of jazz like Johnny Appleseed, this act an be described in a single word: delightful."
