College of Marin Symphony Orchestra
Tchaikovsky's Romeo and Juliet Fantasy-Overture is the perfect musical distillation of Shakespeare's tragedy, featuring heartbreaking melodies and dramatic orchestration. Joining this masterpiece on the program are Offenbach's exuberant Orpheus in the Underworld Overture, the Scherzo from Amy Beach's Gaelic Symphony, and a concerto featuring the winner of the orchestra's youth competition.
