THE WEDGE PASSPORT $35
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 12th 2-6PM Think of it as a "Taste of Grand Avenue" with a cheese flair. The $35 Wedge Tasting Passport gets you access to 30 tasting stops outside the Wedge Street Festival. These tasting stops consist of shops sampling fine cheeses and local restaurants that will treat you to samples their dishes. In addition, your passport includes ten beer and wine tastings to redeem at each location. If that wasn't enough, several shops are offering goodies to fill your goodie bag with along the way. Tickets are limited, and will go up to $45 the day of the event - so we encourage you to buy online early. See the website for the list of breweries and wineries.
CHEESE MAKING CLASS AT AVOCADO GRILL $40
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 12th 1-2PM Organizers of The Wedge 2013 are making this year's event even cheesier by adding cheese making classes to the artisanal celebration of artisanal cheese, craft beer and boutique wines.
The cheese making class will be offered to cheese fans during The Wedge event on October 12th, from 1pm until 2 pm at California Avocado Grill located at 136 West Grand Avenue.
Learn the basics of cheese making with Jack Ford of TAJ Farms who will take cheese fans through the fundamentals of making of several soft cheeses like Chevre, Ricotta and Feta. During the class students will also enjoy wine tasting conducted by Chris Bromell of Triple B Ranches
