*Tickets will be available at the door, cash or check.

Join Fanny Lora (mezzo-soprano) and Yukiko Oba (pianist) in celebrating the music and history of Andalucía (Spain), a territory that was held under Arab rule for nearly 800 years. During that time, the culture and the music of the southern states of Spain were infused with Arabian traditions. Music by Isidoro Hernández, Enrique Granados and José Serrano Simeón. This season, Andaluz has been featured as part of the Thomas Crane Library winter concert series (Quincy) and is included in Performing Arts Center of MetroWest (PAC) spring concert series (Framingham). Additionally, the Framingham performance of Andaluz was supported in part by a grant from the Framingham Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
