Mini House Concert in NYC
Come cozy. We're opening up just twenty tickets for this little show in a Cornelia Street Apartment.
DIANE CLUCK (dianecluck.info) a singer-songwriter of intuitive folk music based in Charlottesville, Virginia. She employs singing as a healing, textural experience in which audiences may wander, ponder, or simply be. Her vocal style has been noted for its clipped, glottal beauty, and described by NPR as "an unlikely mix of Aaron Neville, the Baka people, and Joni Mitchell--unaffected yet unusual".
Diane contributed to New York's burgeoning Antifolk scene in the early 2000s. Since then, singer-songwriters Laura Marling, Florence Welch (of Florence And The Machine), and Sharon Van Etten have cited Diane's work as influential.

LAUREN GREGORY is a singer and composer who performs ornate and hypnotic music through layering and looping her voice (while occasionally incorporating singing bowls, crystal glasses, and bowed guitar). Rooted in ancient modal music and medieval polyphonic chant, Gregory achieves the effect of massed voices through the use of a loop pedal and other forms of electronic manipulation of her unaccompanied voice.

MATTHEW WARD is a composer, multi-instrumentalist, and bandleader who creates ornate, textural music for guitar, piano, and cello. Wards sui generis playing is rooted in classical, flamenco, free jazz, and modal folk music. Drawing from the work of John Fahey and Morton Feldman, Wards delicate, challenging compositions utilize space and silence to create lavish, emotive soundscapes. Aside from his solo work, Ward leads Vervain and the Matthew Ward Trio/Quartet.
