An original adaptation of Jean Cocteaus play co-created by Vladimir Rovinsky (Theatre Novi Most) and Nadine DuBois
Director - Vladimir Rovinsky Woman - Michelle Massey A Woman alone in her apartment. She talks on the telephone with her lover of the last five years, but the audience hears only one half of the conversation - hers. This conversation is growing increasingly dramatic, as the true complexities of their relationship are revealed. As if this isnt enough the phone frequently cuts off and phone lines are crossed, leading to tension and misunderstanding. This new version of Jean Cocteaus classic features fourth wall breaking moments, when the actress can freely comment on the events that the audience has just observed, inserting a narrative drawn from her own life experiences and even do some singing.
