Dill's Celtic Festival 2019
Celebrate the Celtic history and heritage of Central Pennsylvania at the second annual Dill's Celtic Festival on Saturday, April 13th, 2019. This family-friendly event will feature Celtic crafters, artisans, vendors of traditional foods and beverages, musicians, and dancers. Tickets are $10 per person, and free for children 12 and under. Online ticket sales end 48 hours before event date.
Over 275 years ago, Scots-Irish immigrants like the Dill family established homes, farms, and businesses in areas west of the Susquehanna River. Dill's Tavern is the epicenter of Matthew Dills American Dream, a 500-acre property purchased in 1742 that would see the gradual development of a thriving community. In the spirit of these early immigrant dreamers, we celebrate Scots-Irish heritage and culture.
Pets are not permitted except for service animals. Celtic Fest is sponsored by Dillsburg Area Business Association (DABA) and Northern York County Historical & Preservation Society (NYCHAPS).
NYCHAPS reserves the right to cancel any event due to low enrollment, inclement weather or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date. In the case of last minute event cancellations, all efforts will be made to inform ticket holders of the cancellation or rescheduling of the event. Before every event, please check www.northernyorkhistorical.org for updates. If you are unable to attend an event for which you have purchased tickets, NYCHAPS should be contacted no later than 48 hours before the start of the event for refund consideration.
