MJFF - Budapest Noir 3-15 6:00 PM PMA
Drama/ mystery / 2017 / Hungary / Hungarian w Eng ST/ 95 min
A beautiful girl is found dead in Budapest 1936 and no one wants to investigate -- except Zsigmond Gordon, a world-weary reporter who asks unwanted questions. Along the way, everyones motives are suspect from the lowlifes in the street, to the political activists, to the highest echelons of business and power. Enjoy the journey but remember in noir, there is always a price.
Viewer Discretion advised due to some violent action and sexual content.
Also being shown on Saturday, March 16 at 5:30 PM at the Strand Theatre in Rockland.
Tickets at the door will be $12 and $10 and will be sold the day of the event one half hour before the film start time subject to availability.
