JEWTAH Matinee at the JCC Film Center
Jewtah 82 min, comedy
"Jewtah" returns to the JCC for a special matinee screening.
Terrified of his Mormon neighbors, a Jew in Salt Lake refuses to go outside. When his grandmother has to sell the house he lives in, he has a nervous breakdown, and starts talking to an Ancient Jewish Muse and the Ghost of Joseph Smith, who give him conflicting advice on what to do next.
A magic-realist crowd-pleaser with laughs in the oddest places, and a little song and dance.
