Benny Bassett w/ So Petty @ The Canyon At The Rose
Join America's top Tom Petty Tribute Band SO PETTY for a night of song dedicated to Tom Petty. This event will take place at the beautiful Canyon at the Rose in Pasadena, where they say "the music meets the soul". Opening the night will be Albuquerque, New Mexico acoustic rocker, Benny Bassett. Benny will be kicking off a 5 month long string of international tour dates in support of his upcoming EP "Words For Yesterday". Come out for a killer night of song, food, drink and GREAT TUNES!

Goodbye Im sorry I love you there are a litany of phrases that pack an emotional punch in only a few short words. But as meaningful as these sentiments can be, there are also equal amounts of moments in life, where we watch our opportunity to say them pass. The second EP release from acoustic rocker Benny Bassett is a collection of variations on this theme, titled Words for Yesterday.
For two and half years, Benny has pursued the life of a solo troubadour, logging over 200,000 miles, and close to 500 shows. While watching the odometer spin, Benny has had his fair share of missed opportunities, moments that escaped, and yes, mistakes. Each song on this EP presents a different scenario where the actor is lamenting the inability to say what needed to be said.
