ELKHART LODGE Four-piece alt-country band Elkhart Lodge blends elements of country, blues, and rock in their lyrical and well-crafted songs. Influenced by acts like Deer Tick, the Kinks, Drive by Truckers, Father John Misty, and (naturally) Neil Young, Elkhart Lodge is one of those rare bands whose songs somehow make you feel more alive and can accompany you anywhere: driving solo down a country road, making out, getting over a broken heart, or dancing at four am on your living-room coffee table. Lead vocalist James Cashmans poignant and funny lyrics deliver his sandpaper vocals through Kyle Nunweilers noteworthy guitar and pedal steel, Dennis Langridges plucky bass, and Kevin Inabas badass drumming. One of Vancouvers most exciting new acts, Elkhart Lodge is known for unforgettable and energetic live performances. Their relatable lyrics and first-rate songwriting make Elkhart Lodge stand out in a genre known for pathos and storytelling.

ZACH KLEISINGER There is a distinct vulnerability in singer-songwriter Zach Kleisingers music. With a voice that is deep, slow, and soaked in sorrow, he reflects on the human condition with stories that chronicle everyday moments. The characters in his songs are crushed by broken relationships, financial problems, failing careers, and are oftentimes unable to understand their own anguish. They are possessed by love and introspection, by their passions and aspirations; but are seldom guilty of refusing their own failures and flaws. These characters exist in a world of sweeping melodies that are stripped-down and minimal; leaving those who live there with an underlying hope and yearning for the future. Zach Kleisingers songs will sink into deeper places within while reminding us of the brevity of our time on this earth. After the release of his 2018 EP "I Hope It's Calm, Then" Zach embarked on two tours of Canada, pulling audiences into the vulnerability of his performances. Recently, he has spent time in the studio, and is prepared to release new music in 2019.
