Eddie Holstein at Heritage Gallery
Eddie's unique blend of folk songs, humor and great guitar that have entertained Chicago-area audiences for over 40 years! Hes a deceptively casual comedian, especially when he is mocking the very idea of the earnest hoboing folk singer. Tom McNamee, Chicago Sun Times.
Beverly's own Heritage Gallery -- only a block from the Givins Castle -- provides an exquisitely intimate South Side concert experience, among visual art exhibits.
No one ever spent more time looking at the castle than did Jack Simmerlig, the late local artist who grew up in the neighborhood. Just east of the castle is the Heritage Gallery where the artist worked for nearly 30 years alongside his daughter Vicki. You will find there many examples of Simmerlings work, including many versions of the castle that he first saw as a little boy and that so powerfully grabbed his eye for keeps.
Tickets can be purchased at the door one hour prior to the performance, and there is ample street parking on Longwood Drive and Wood St.
