MEMPHIS BELLE (1990)
The Strand presents our Veterans Film Series. We will see films representing WWI, WWII, Korea, Cold War, Vietnam, and the Middle East.
MEMPHIS BELLE is a war drama based on the 1943 documentary Memphis Belle: A Story of a Flying Fortress. Filmed in the late 1980s, this movie used 5 of the 7 flying B-17 bombers at the time. The original Memphis Belle aircraft is on display at the National Museum of the United States Air Force in Dayton, Ohio.
Pilots: You can fly in to KGEZ and transportation will be provided from your aircraft to the Strand Theatre and back.
Veterans and Active Military receive Free Admission at the door.
