Monica Pasqual at The Monkey House, Spark and Whisper Open
Monica Pasqual is best known as a member of the popular all-woman band, Blame Sally. But in addition to her work in that band Pasqual has been composing soundtracks, writing songs and recording solo albums since the mid 90s. Her most recent solo CD, "This Cold Desire", won the Independent Music Awards for Best Concept album. At this rare solo performance, Pasqual will perform songs from her entire recorded catalog, as well as newer work.

Opening the show is the duo "Spark and Whisper" who Paul Liberatore of the Marin IJ described as "a serious force in Modern Folk...sensitive, introspective and at times refreshingly hard-driving."
