Food Farm Film Wine Festival (Flim Flam) - Aug 16-18, 2013
August 16, Friday evening, local chefs pair with local farms to create delicious tastings of North Fork Valley abundance - "Taste the Valley" at the Paradise Theatre. Then settle in and enjoy the humorous and informative film Bag It.
SOLD OUT!!! - On Saturday, August 17 you will have the opportunity to visit and tour vibrant Valley farms in Paonia: Small Potatoes Farm & Bakery, Austin Family Farm, Delicious Orchards and Zephyros Farm and Garden. On your touring route, stop off at the wineries of the West Elks AVA for some tastings.Then it's off to savor mouth-watering, local chef-prepared appetizers and wine at the Paradise Theatre and watch Genetic Roulette, a very dynamic documentary film about the impact of genetically engineered foods in the US. You'll finish the evening at Fresh & Wyld Farmhouse Inn for a sumptuous dinner prepared by Chef Dava Parr featuring wonderful local harvests.
SOLD OUT!!! - On Sunday, August 18 you'll begin with a delectable continental breakfast at the Paradise Theatre and then view the film Dirt! The Movie, inspired by the acclaimed book by William Bryant Logan; a movie that tells the story of the glorious and unappreciated ground under our feet. Afterwards, we'll have a Chef Dava Parr-inspired brunch at Fresh & Wyld with music by Sticky Mulligan.
