Celebrate July 4th with Los Angeles Maritime Institute (LAMI) and join us for a tall ship extravaganza. Our twin brigantines, Irving Johnson and Exy Johnson, will take you sailing for a great experience on the water!
Enjoy the waterfront's July 4th festivities from a classic tall ship. We have an exciting schedule planned.
First, we're offering a Cannon Battle experience.
Then, we're off to Long Beach for an amazing Fireworks Show, which will erupt up and down the coastline starting at 9:00 PM.
You have the option of purchasing a ticket to one event, or a ticket to both events at a discounted price. There are special prices for Seniors, Students and Children under 12 (see ticket prices below).
Cannon Battle 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Fireworks Show 6:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
(There is a drop down menu below with two different times listed; select the 6:00 p.m. time to purchase just the Fireworks Sail.)
Participation is limited, so don't delay - purchase your tickets now!
Minors under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Children must weigh at least 70 lbs.
You are welcome to bring food and non-alcoholic beverages aboard the ship, but please remember we will have a full ship, so kindly be as "compact" as possible with your carry-ons.
Allow sufficient time to find parking at Ports O'Call, wear soft soled shoes and bring a jacket - it can get pretty nippy at night!
