On Friday, June 14 at 8pm, NYC's sexiest 1930's cabaret party SPEAKEASY MODERNE will play at EAST HAMPTON STUDIO featuring New York City Housewife SONJA MORGAN. Where the audience gets swept up in a world where singers enchant, flappers flirt and dancers dazzle.
The event, organized by Sonja's event company SONJA MORGAN, is teaming up with caterer STEVE CARL of CARLYLE OFF THE GREEN to create a great Gatsby Wonderland and intimate Cabraret for those 100 highrollers who take thousand dollar tables for limited seating at EAST HAMPTON STUDIO and with studio owner MICHAEL WUDYKA and producer HANK STAMPFL. There'll also be standing room tickets, a full bar service for purchase, cash only and a VIP reception with passed hors d'oeuvres and comp bubbles so get yours now before they sellout as this will be a filmed event!
The event is in support of David Kilmnick's Long Island Gay and Lesbian Youth (LIGALY) GLBT youth center launch in the Hamptons and Creative Coalition! For this special occasion Sonja has written one of her hilarious skits to perform for the night. Truly this is not one to be missed!

Playing Off-Broadway in NYC STAGE 72 "Official Hank" Stampfl creates an unforgettable evening featuring an intoxicating blend of Jazz Age Manhattan, vaudeville, cabaret and a touch of burlesque. With songs from the Tin Pan Alley era to the Golden Age of Broadway to today's pop charts and performances from special guest singers, dancers and burlesque stars, the show puts a modern twist on the illicit speakeasy, where high brow and low brow entertainers and audiences mingle, indulging in drink, song and dance.

The cast features: Sonja Morgan, Gabi Ruiz, Linda Calise, Dina Fanai, Official Hank, Ashley Arcement, Nikki Chalas, Kristin Ewing, Shari Katz, Macy Reeves, Tommy Scrivens and Choreographer Kimberly Schafer. The band features Matt Baker on piano, Adam Kabak on bass and Miss Jodi on drums. Makeup design by Dex Phillip of Dex New York Cosmetics.
Musical numbers include "Willkommen" from Cabaret, "Edge of Glory" (Lady Gaga), "It Don't Mean A Thing" (Duke Ellington) and "Proud Mary" (Tina Turner).
Master of Ceremonies "Official Hank" Stampfl has traveled regionally and nationally in the North American Broadway tour of Evita, Kander and Ebb's Cabaret, and Hello, Dolly starring Sally Struthers. He has recently released a pop/dance CD produced by Heather Holley (Christina Aguilera) featuring songs "Life On Stage," "Know Me" featuring Richie Rich, and "Feel Good."
Gabrielle Ruiz was last seen on Broadway in the revival of Evita and the Tony Award-winning Best Musical of 2008, In The Heights, understudying the principle roles of Vanessa, Nina and Carla and performing nightly as Ensemble. Off-Broadway, she was Rosalita for SkippyJon Jones the Musical, a Free Summer Theatre Program by Theatreworks USA. She performed all over the country with rave reviews as DiAna Morales in the 1st National Tour of A Chorus Line and she recently reprised the role of Diana at Papermill Playhouse and Pittsburgh CLO. Her television debut was as a recurring role for ABC's One Life to Live and she has also appeared on Law and Order: SVU and Sesame Street.
