Choirs of Archangels

Vancouver's MOTET Chamber Choir and Chilliwack's Belle Voci A cappella Ensemble invite you to celebrate with them the Feast of Sts. Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael, Archangels, through sacred choral music in honour of the hosts of heaven.

Joining forces to present a beautiful programme spanning over five hundred years of music, they will be bringing their sublime music together to the Sunshine Coast for the first time! With choral masterpieces by Josquin, Byrd, Bairstow, Rachmaninoff, and more, this is one collaboration you won't want to miss.

Josquin de Prez - Sanctus (from Missa L'homme armé super voces musicales)

William Byrd - Ne irascaris Domine
Edward Bairstow - Let all mortal flesh keep silence

Arvo Pärt - The Deer's Cry
Sergei Rachmaninoff - Bogoroditse Devo (from All-Night Vigil)
