Golden Tree Story at ROCKiT's Sunday Folk Club
Come listen to the lush sounds of "Golden Tree Story" the music of local singer-songwriter, Cynthia Marie, on piano/vocals, leading her 5-piece band of stellar Seattle folk & jazz musicians - Cameron Peace on guitar, Rachel Erin Sage on fiddle/vocals, Birch Pereira on bass/vocals, and Dave Bush on percussion - their original songs & arrangements of Appalachian ballads and folk favorites will take you on a journey you won't forget!

Opening the evening are the beautiful vocal harmonies & instrumentals of Camelia Jade and Mike Antone, a duo from Seattle and the Snoqualmie Valley.  They create a unique blend of folk music from the Pacific Northwest and South America.  Mike Antone - vocals, guitar, lap steel, percussion; and Camelia jade - vocals, guitar, charango, percussion.

Brought to you in part by the Seattle Mayor's Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs, this concert will be a special welcome to new families resettled to Seattle, into our music & arts community at ROCKiT space; special guests from the International Rescue Committee, including Adrienne Ramm, will share stories & introduce us to refugee resettlement in Seattle, and Betty Jean, director of ROCKiT Community Arts will speak about ROCKiT's many opportunities in music, art, dance, and creating community.  For more information about the International Rescue Committee:
