Big Pete Pearson
If you want to hear a "juke joint performance at its best" don't miss Big Pete Pearson. This fine singer was inducted into the Arizona Blues Hall of Fame in 1995, which was the year he announced his retirement from the stage. As you can see, talent like his can't stay retired for too long, lucky for his many fans. The Scene describes Big Pete as a "blues belter extaordinaire" who uses "his huge, gravel and honey voice like a finely tuned instrument wringing out the raw emotion in every song".
