DEER TICK:
From the band that's been both accurately and inaccurately labeled just about everything this side of Top 40 comes a true-to-form rock-n-roll record. Scratch that, true-to-form is not Deer Tick's style. Let's start overNaturally, after so many years of critics praising [and making fun of] them for their "folk" and "country" sounds and hardly ever mentioning the fact that they've also recorded virtually dozens of other kinds of music, the band wanted to make a record that was truer to their live set (which has gained some notoriety): raw, loud, heartfelt, and completely uninterested in whatever the hell the rest of the music industry is up to.

TAN VAMPIRES:
Tan Vampires are a 6 piece band from the Seacoast of New Hampshire. The Boston Phoenix chose them for its 2010 "Fifty bands from Fifty states".
Their new record, "For Physical Fitness," was released September 20th, 2011.
They have recently opened for Yo La Tengo and Okkervil River.
"This band from New Hampshire has stuck with me since the first time I dug its debut album, For Physical Fitness, out of NPR Music's massive pile of incoming mail. It's an album crammed with well-crafted songs that soar, twist and never blend into one another." NPR.org

THE TRIPPING SOULS:
The Tripping Souls is an independent alternative rock band founded by Paul Makris in 2012. Paul does all the writing, guitars, keyboards, and vocals, with help from friends on bass and drums.
A Concord NH native, Paul grew up listening to 60's and 70's British rock. Primarily influence by the Beatles and the punk/mod scene, he absorbed an incredible amount of music beginning at an early age. Paul ultimately decided to pursue his music on a more formal basis, recording songs at Zippah Studios in Boston in 2012, wIth Wayne Whittaker on bass, and Ben Marino and Steve Chaggaris splitting the drum duties. Produced by Paul and Brian Charles, and engineered by Brian with Annie Hoffman, the result is the fresh, full, melodic sound of The Tripping Souls.
