A night of live Jazz with world renowned bassist and composer Tarus Mateen!
Come and experience the artistic expressions of Tarus and his friends. Tarus Mateen is bassist for Blue Note recording artist, and Kennedy Center's artistic director for Jazz, Jason Moran's world renowned trio The Bandwangon. His career also includes touring with legendary Jazz artists such as Stanley Cowell and Betty Carter. This marks the beginning of Mateen's regular tenure at Club 2147.
