Free Screening of Dirty Laundry
As part of the 2018 Saint Louis International Film Festival, a free community screening of the locally produced documentary film, "Dirty Laundry", will take place at Old Bakery Beer Company on Friday November 2nd at 7:00pm.
Fueled by curiosity about their grandmothers surprising death from a rare form of cancer, two cousins bicycle across the United States looking for answers. Through interviews and research they uncover a trail of corporate disinterest and broken families, bound together by a common thread - asbestos exposure and the death sentence of mesothelioma.
Directed by: Conor B. Lewis (St. Louis, Missouri) Assistant Director: Zach Johnson (Alton, Illinois)
This free community event has been made possible by SLIFF, Cinema Saint Louis, Rock The Hops, The Old Bakery Beer Company, and Simmons Hanly Conroy.
