NEXT TO NORMAL
NEXT TO NORMAL tells the story of a mother, Diana Goodman, who struggles with bipolar disorder and the effect that her illness has on her family. This contemporary musical is an emotional powerhouse that addresses such issues as grieving a loss, ethics in modern psychiatry, and suburban life. With provocative lyrics and a thrilling score, the musical shows how far two parents will go to keep themselves sane and their family's world intact. According to the New York Times, the show "isn't a feel-good musical, it is a feel-everything musical." November 16 - December 2, 2018 CONTAINS STRONG LANGUAGE AND THEMES.
Shows will run for three weekends, and are Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2:00pm, at the Park Ballroom, 1232 Park Street in Paso Robles. Wine, cheese plates, and snacks are available to enjoy before and during the show. [Please no outside food or drink.]
Doors open one hour prior to show time. For best seating, come early and enjoy some wine. Groups of 8 or more will be guaranteed a reserved table, but someone from the group should arrive early to claim one of the more desirable tables.
