Centennial Concert and Ball
Help celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the end of the war-to-end-all-wars, World War I. Our own Heliotrope Ragtime Orchestra under the direction of Bruce Vermazen will dazzle with the authentic sounds of 1890-1924. Guests attired in formal wear suitable to 1900-1920 will be in abundance, and perhaps a few dough boys home on leave. The Great War was a pivotal time in our history, and 100 years later the effects are still felt. Join us for a supreme back-in-time experience suitable for Masterpiece Theater. Guests are encouraged to dress the era, but at a minimum, cocktail wear is required. (No jeans, tee shirts, tennis shoes or mini-dresses, please.)
