The last program of the season will be presented twice, on Saturday, April 27 at 7:30 at Arlington High School in LaGrangeville, and also on Sunday, April 28 at 3:00 at The Woodstock Playhouse. To buy tickets for the Sunday concert go to woodstockplayhouse.org for more information.
19th Century Masterworks is highlighted by three of the romantic period's most influential composers. The program includes music by Jacques Offenbach as well as Antonin Dvorak's Symphony No. 8. The program will also include a performance of perhaps the most famous concerto in all of classical music, Tchaikovskys violin concerto. This piece will be performed by world renowned soloist and Arlington High School's Visiting Artist in Residence, Janet Sung.
