This seasons third concert, entitled "Friendship" will be held at the prestigious Bard College, in Red Hook, NY. The program will include terrific staples of the symphonic repertoire: Edward Elgars Enigma Variations named for the composers friends pictured within each variation, as well as Johannes Brahms' popular Academic Festival Overture. The WSO will also be featuring the orchestras principal oboist, Allison Rubin, a longtime friend of the orchestra, who will be performing Franz Joseph Haydn's Oboe Concerto in C Major.
