SEMSBA Senior Music Festival Concert 2: Orchestra and Band
The SEMSBA organization and Hanover High School are very proud to host the 2013 SEMSBA Senior Music Festival. This event is for the instrumental portion of the Festival only.

MEAL AND SNACKS:

Lunch will be provided on Friday and Saturday for all participating students and Directors.  Vegetarian options will be available.  The Friends of Hanover Music will set up a concession stand in the gym lobby so that students may purchase snacks and drinks at rehearsal breaks. A Directors lounge will be set up in the Choral Room (Rm 147).

NURSE:

A nurse will be on duty during the entire festival.  Directors are asked to make any specific medical needs known to the nurse upon registration.  All medications must be administered through the nurse.

STUDENT PREPARATION:

Students are expected to arrive with their music fully prepared before the first rehearsal. As in previous years, spot checks may be conducted to check for adequate preparation.
Instrumentalists should bring extra materials needed such as reeds, valve oil, strings, rosin, etc.
Brass and string players should bring any necessary mutes - check your music!
Percussionists should bring extra mallets, sticks, etc.
ALL students must bring their music folders and a pencil to every rehearsal. All music and folders will be collected at the end of the festival.
To ensure all rehearsals begin promptly, students should allow for ample time for warm up.

GENERAL FESTIVAL RULES:

Students must follow the schedule and stay in their assigned areas during the festival.
