Arion's fourth season consists of four concerts presented by some of the finest chamber musicians in the New York area: Efi Hackmey (piano), Adrienne Kim (piano), Inessa Zaretsky (piano), William Wei (violin), Emily Popham (violin), Jesse Mills (violin), Lilit Gampel (violin), Laura Goldberg (violin), Lev Zhurbin (viola), Arthur Dibble (viola), and our Music Director Robert La Rue (cello).
All concerts are at Christ and St. Stephen's Church (120 W. 69th St., NYC, between Broadway and Columbus) and start at 7:30pm.
* Thursday, November 8th, 2018: a richly varied program of compositions for strings featuring the Dvorak Terzetto and Schuberts Quartettsatz alongside works by Corelli, Mozart, and the innovative Russian-born composer Lev Zhurbin. Music Director Robert La Rue (cello) is joined by Lilit Gampel, Laura Goldberg (violins) and Mr. Zhurbin (viola).
* Friday, February 1st, 2019: Jesse Mills (violin), Inessa Zaretsky (piano), Arthur Dibble (viola) and Robert La Rue (cello) perform a pair of mid-20th duos -- the Shostakovich Cello Sonata (1948) and Luigi Dallapiccolas Tartiniana seconda for violin and piano (1956) -- followed by Faurés great C minor Piano Quartet.
* Friday, March 8th, 2019: Pianist Efi Hackmey and cellist Robert La Rue are joined by outstanding young violinist, William Wei, performing the Samuel Barber Cello Sonata, Beethovens Kakadu Variations, Op. 121a, for piano trio, and the G Major sonata for violin and pIano by Johannes Brahms.
* Friday, April 12th, 2019: The Alcott Trio -- Adrienne Kim (piano), Emily Popham (violin) and Robert La Rue (cello) -- returns, performing Mozarts C Major Trio, K. 458, the Schumann D Minor Trio, Op. 63, and a new work by the young Finnish composer, Ilari Kaila.

The ticket for the first concert will be issued at the time of purchase here; the remaining tickets are will-call and will be ready for you at the first concert All concerts are open seating.
