"The Music Of Stan Getz at The Bosque!"
The tenor saxophone sound that everyone recognizes as Stan Getz has an uncanny way of coming through when Dave Anderson plays his jazz idol's music. A retired Santa Fe Public School music teacher of 28 years, Anderson's background credentials tout big names like Ella Fitzgerald and Freda Payne.
The legendary Getz was known for introducing bossa novas to American audiences. This program of favorites includes "The Girl From Ipanema" and "Desafinado". With Bert Dalton keyboard, Asher Barreras bass, Cal Haines drums.
