Three-time Grammy Award winner, Lucinda Williams and her band BUICK 6 head to the Windy City for a two-night concert experience to benefit Oak Park River Forest Food Pantry. It's a double anniversary bash, celebrating the 20th anniversary of Williams hit album Car Wheels on a Gravel Road, and the Food Pantry's 40th year.
With Grammy Awards in country, rock, and folk, Williams has been making her mark across the music industry for over three decades. Her music is often likened to Bob Dylan or Tom Petty, both of whom she has toured with. Her unique voice and emotive songwriting was pivotal in launching the Americana movement.
Proceeds from the two-day concert event will directly benefit the over 44,000 individuals Oak Park River Forest Food Pantry serves every year. Prior concerts have sold out very quickly, so get your tickets now!
Special thanks to WXRT, The Moller Family Foundation, and The Reedy Family Foundation.
Tickets are sold out. To be added to the waitlist, please contact Lauren at Laurenb@oprffoodpantry.org.
