Friday, July 27th features:
Natále
She never went to art school - doesn't know much about music theory, and still borrows cameras to shoot her films... yet she completed her first feature-length documentary this year and has been on tour with her latest music project - We Are Here, opening for Christopher Paul Stelling and Josiah Johnson of
The Head and the Heart.

The Wolff Sisters
Gritty and raw folk-rock outfit The Wolff Sisters & The Last Cavalry first broke into the Boston music scene as an acoustic trio. With haunting harmonies and songs reminiscent of washed up wanderers on New Englands salty coasts, Rebecca, Rachael, and Kat stole Bostons heart as The Wolff Sisters (yes, theyre really sisters). Born to a poet and a musician, they grew up on the heavy realism of Dylan and Springsteen blended with the loose and loud Rolling Stones. Drawing inspiration from blues giants like Howlin Wolf and modern storytellers Dawes, The Wolff Sisters dont fit into one genre of music. With Rebecca on acoustic guitar, Rachael on electric guitar, Kat on keys, and all three on vocals, the sisters spent years honing their sound together in an old victorian house just outside Boston.

Wild Sun
Wild Sun stands apart from the noise and imitation with their honest brand of heartfelt rock and roll. In a time when every channel is overloaded with the same old thing, Wild Sun is fresh and raw, and yet accessibly familiar. In just three years, the alternative rock outfit fronted by songwriter Glenn Kendzia have earned their stay as one of the most promising bands around. With their debut album produced by Bryce Goggin (Pavement, Phish), frequent radio airplay (CMJ Top 200 Chart), and a live show that breaks bar sales records, Wild Sun is armed for the front lines.

Ian Fitzgerald
Ian Fitzgerald has been criss-crossing the country over the past several years singing what he's written for audiences of all stripes.  Based in New England, Ian performs both as a solo act and as the leader of Ian Fitzgerald & Something Else, the group formed in 2017 to bring full-band arrangements of his songs to the stage.  Those songs come from the five albums of original material he has released, including his latest effort You Won't Even Know I'm Gone.

After having picked up the guitar in his late teens with the simple goal of learning to play the songs of others that had become so integral to his life, Ian began in his early twenties to write songs of his own.  Ian's first attempts at songwriting coincided with a deepening appreciation of early folk music, which helped establish the path he would follow with his own work.  After three albums in quick succession, Ian evaluated what he'd learned about the songwriting and record-making processes and applied those lessons to his two most recent albums, No Time To Be Tender and You Won't Even Know I'm Gone.  The result has been a growing recognition of Ian's work and songwriting ability, including a full touring schedule that has seen him perform in 39 states over the past two years; performances at the Newport Folk Festival in 2015 and 2016; and shows opened for Iris DeMent, Joan Shelley, Twisted Pine, Willy Mason, Darlingside, The Ballroom Thieves, and many more.  Ian hopes to begin work on his next album in 2018.

Cactus Attack
To make their music really stand out, a band needs a quality that separates it from their contemporaries. Attleboro, MA Cactus Attack have gained a sought out reputation in New Englands folk music scene by playing raucous acoustic based rock & roll that has plenty of energy and vigor. The bands whiskey soaked style is evident in their latest release Happy Hunting. Its a swampy blend of bluegrass rhythms, electric guitar chords and heart on the sleeve lyrics that goes straight for the soul. These rabble rousers know how to unleash musical fury with a hard-hitting album that never lets up. - Robert Duguay, Impose

Saturday, July 28th

Charlie Marie
"Charlie Marie proudly stands on the shoulders of those who preceded her, staking her musical identity on timeless content in place of trends. She reminds listeners that drama can be found in domestic life. Perhaps most importantly, her restrained yet soul-lifting sound demonstates that less can in face be more." - Carolyn Dixon

The Low Cards
Rock & roll, swamp rock, roots rock... The Low Cards have been described as many things, one thing's for sure, they rock. Dissonant guitar mayhem, bombastic pigskin pounding, and slap happy upright bass debauchery... The Low Cards are guaranteed to satisfy.

OldJack
Hailed as the most underrated band in Boston, with three guitars, bass, drums, organ/keys, and a front man from yesterday, OldJack belts out their original material with lots of harmonies, big vocals, and guitar solos galore. From being the underdog, wild card winning, reprieved Rock n Roll Rumble finalists to Boston Music Awards nominees and a staple of multiple music festivals in the northeast  OldJack has firmly planted their feet in the New England Music Scene, making music for musics sake.

The Silks Music
The Silks are a rock and roll band out of Providence, Rhode Island. You could say The Silks are thee rock and roll band from Providence, but then you wouldn't exactly be asking the cool kids. You'd need to dig a bit deeper than trends. The Silks exist outside of The Hip's bearded rat race. The sound is classic power trio of the blues-based variety. You know, The Devil's music. You've got guitar pyrotechnics galore from frontman Tyler-James Kelly. Chicken-pickin' or taking a soaring lead break, it's quickly apparent Kelly's on a whole'nother level. It makes you wonder just when did he get his first real six-string. Then there's the voice. Ballsy, bluesy, however you want to describe it, it just sounds like ripping a telephone book in half and feels like scratching a really good itch. The rhythm section of Sam Jodrey on drums and Jonas Parmelee on the bass guitar chug-chugs and chop-chop-chops along. Fast songs, slow songs, it doesn't matter. It's always all about the dance floor. The dance floor reciprocates.

The Z-Boys
The Z-Boys are a most excellent power trio hailing from Newport, Rhode Island. With a combination of surf rock, blazing fast country, latin, and metal influences, The Z-Boys will grab your attention and give it a smooch. If you can pick your jaw up off the floor, you may find yourself dancing until the tequila emerges from all your pores. Oh, and we'll make you pancakes after.
