Mae Krell + April Rose Homecoming Show
Mae Krell and April Rose (of The Rose Monarch) are playing an intimate, stripped down acoustic NYC show as a homecoming from their 2 month long full USA tour!
Mae Krell:
On the surface Mae Krell looks like your average teenager. They wear their hair occasionally pink and sport a band T-shirt whenever they can. They hang out at rock shows and love watching Post Malones early acoustic videos on Youtube. However, Mae posses a stark ability that is only apparent once you hear their songs. The 19 year-old songwriter touches on the most vulnerable parts of growing up in 2018. I dont want to be portrayed as too put together. Im still working on myself. Im constantly changing and growing and falling apart and coming back together.
April Rose (of The Rose Monarch):
Hailing from a quaint town on Long Island, April Rose is the front-woman of eccentric alt-rock band, The Rose Monarch. However, there is nothing small about Aprils voice- which is the first thing anyone notices when playing through the bands most recent release, Echoes From the End. The EP is a captivating and intimate look at April Roses own struggle with her mortality and the themes that accompany it. To the core, April is a writer and storyteller, which is effortlessly shown in the way she opens up about the recent release- The sentiment Echoes from the End can be easily translated to: what happens after the end of an event or a moment? Are there moments after the end? Of course.
