Lady Parts--A Song Cycle By Meg Phillips Crespy
The majority of musical theatre songs written for women have men as the topic. Lady Parts, a new song cycle, was written to break that mold. 15 original new songs, ranging from hilarious to bittersweet, give female performers the chance to sing about being human. The performance will provide laughs, a few tears, and will leave audiences feeling upbeat. Recommended for ages 13 and up (contains mature language).
Performed at El-Scari Harvey Art Gallery, 1014 W 39th St.
