About The Bands

An electronically-tinged alternative rock band, NY-based outfit VISTA originally formed in late 2015. Comprised of lead vocalist Hope Vista and guitarist Greg Almeida, the band combines both modern alternative rock and electronic influences to create their unique anthemic sound. VISTA released their debut 4-track EP VERSUS shortly after their original inception, in which their debut single On The Brink debuted worldwide on idobi radio. Their name hasnt been shy in the press, since; the band has garnered praise from outlets such as Alternative Press, Rock Sound, Substream, and AXS.

The Bad Bees are an American alt-rock band from Cinnaminson, New Jersey, formed in 2015. Their music ebbs and flows from the likes of The Smashing Pumpkins and Grizzly Bear to Chon and The Mars Volta.

Sofia Khorosh, better known by her stage name SØF, is an award-winning indie-pop artist from East Brunswick, New Jersey. Nominated for countless local awards and winning many more; this young artist has come into her own. SØFs musical influence reaches far beyond the stage. In the summer of 2013 she received the "Community Service/VAVS Commendation Award" from the U.S. Marine Corps for her performances benefiting wounded veterans at the Lyons Veterans Hospital and in May of 2014, was presented with the "Chapel of Four Chaplains Legion of Honor Award" for her efforts as a humanitarian.

Connies Ric Rac is a performing arts venue. We also serve drinks. However, we are not a bar with a stage. Although we have over 50 craft beers available, our product is whos on our stage, not whats in our fridge.
We are located in the heart of the 9th Street Italian Market in South Philadelphia, presenting music, comedy and performing arts. Everyone knows The Ric Racs higher purpose is all about local and regional live talent, but it doesnt stop there.
