Paddlers for Humanity's "Stand Up" Documentary Screening
Join Paddlers for Humanity on Friday evening, June 15th for a screening of its documentary film "Stand Up" at Guild Hall in East Hampton.
Doors will open at 7:00 pm and the film will be shown at 8:15 pm. The film runs approximately 60 minutes. "Stand Up" tells the story of a community of like-minded people coming together to achieve a goal bigger than themselves - undertaking the physical challenge of an open ocean paddle from Montauk to Block Island, with the purpose of bettering the lives of children by supporting innovative youth mental health and resiliency programs and initiatives.
Adventure, risk, beneficence, and heart come together on this fantastic journey.
Before and after the film, enjoy a reception celebrating the achievements of the paddlers, volunteers, supporters, and the good works of numerous non-profit organizations.
Proceeds from the event will go to Paddlers for Humanity and its worthy non-profit partners.
