The Portlanders
Urban-folk at Café Artichoke brings the inspired musicianship of The Portlanders - songwriters, Kate Power, Steve Einhorn, Mick Doherty and Kevin Shay Johnson - on guitars, banjo, hammered dulcimer, harmonica, upright bass, ukulele, accordion, bodhran, bones and four rich voices in a sumptuous quartet of multi-instrumentalists. Come out to Portland's most welcoming and intimate folk club for a harmonious evening of tunes, songs and stories among four soloists who have crossed strings in the local folk scene since the 1970's. Hosted in its new location, Artichoke Music welcomes THE PORTLANDERS for a monthly residency. Limited seats. Advance tickets suggested. Doors 6:30PM, Showtime 7PM. Beer and wine available. All ages welcome. $15 advance (fees may apply), $20 Day of Show.
