A highly decorated Jewish WWII veteran, Dr. Bernard Bail was captured by the Nazis and saved by the care and secret love of his German nurse. After the war, Bail dedicated himself to healing mental anguish. He became a doctor and psychoanalyst who continued where Freud stopped, pioneering the mothers imprint theory.
Q&A following the screening with Filmmaker, Jill Demby Guest, the subject of the film, Bernard W. Bail, M.D., and film contributor Loren Weiner, Ph.D.
