200 Years of Sound
On Thursday, April 12, 2018 the Music Program at the Boston Society of the New Jerusalem will give a concert to celebrate the 200 years of music since the founding of The Church On The Hill. The concert will begin at 7:00 PM. This concert will feature music from the Classical Period, Romantic Period and Contemporary Periods of music. The selections will include: Violin Concerto in C Major Allegro Moderato Movement by Joseph Haydn; Ten Variations on Unser dummer pobel meint, K. 455 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart; Rondo in G Major, Opus 51, No. 2 by Ludwig Van Beethoven; Grand Waltz in Ab Major, Opus 42 by Frederick Chopin; I Let a Song Go Out of My Heart and In a Sentimental Mood by Duke Ellington; In My Life and Lady Madonna by Lennon and McCartney. This is a ticketed event, please phone 617-523-4575. All of the proceeds from this concert will go to fund the Young Artist Awards Program, under the title of the George James Webb Scholarship Fund.
