Summer Fruit Tree Pruning
Summer pruning is one of the best ways to ensure the health and productivity of your fruit trees. Learn summer pruning techniques from Matthew Sutton, owner of Orchard Keepers, at this demonstration workshop. The workshop takes place from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm on Saturday, August 4 at the UCSC Farm on the UC Santa Cruz campus. Wear comfortable shoes and bring a snack.
Workshop Cost: Cost of the workshop is $25 general admission; $20 for Friends of the Farm & Garden members, and certified UC Master Gardeners; $15 for beginning farmers and limited-income participants; $5 for UCSC students.
Or pay at the door (cash or check only): $30 for general public; $25 for Friends of the Farm & Garden members; UC Master Gardeners; $20 for beginning farmers and limited income participants; $5 for UCSC students.
