American Masterpieces
The Bellingham Chamber Chorale presents an all-American repertoire featuring Leonard Bernstein's "Missa Brevis", Randall Thompson's "Frostiana" with works by Aaron Copland and Eric Whitacre on Saturday, March 9, at 3:00 pm and 7:30 p.m. at St Paul's Episcopal Church, 2117 Walnut Street, Bellingham.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and students, and $5 eighteen and under. Tickets can be purchased in Bellingham at Piper Music, Village Books, The Community Food Co-op Downtown and Cordata branches, and at the door. Joining BCC and director Ryan Smit for this performance of the Bernstein's "Missa Brevis" is countertenor Jose Luis Munoz. BCC celebrates ten years of creating excellence in choral performance since its founding in 2003 by Tim Fitzpatrick . Now on it's second year under Artistic Director Ryan Smit, it continues to flourish as an intimate chamber chorale of high quality regional singers presenting diverse and challenging repertoire for its growing audiences.
