Fair Lawn Festival of Talent Fundraiser 2018
Fair Lawn Festival of Talent Fundraiser 2018 will present over one hundred young artists - musicians and dancers from across the Borough of Fair Lawn, who will present singing, dancing and art at the George Frey Center for Art and Recreation.
The Festival will present separate 60-90 minute concerts @ 2:00, 4:00, 6:00 and 8p.m., each concert featuring young musicians with featured guests, working together to present a variety of acts.
2:00 p.m. Concert
Performers from the Believe in Music Studio, Felipe Torres Drum/Guitar Studio, Viva La Diva Music Studio, and Maywood Dance Center come together to create an energetic show bursting with rhythm and excitement! Pianists and dancers will rocks the stage, and singing stars will dazzle with favorite Broadway/pop tunes, as they join forces with percussion and guitar to lift the roof off the theater!
Joining the crew is special guest, singer/spoken word phenomenon - Xavier Gomez, who is touring with Mac Ayres, and recently opened for Jon Bellion @ Terminal 5 in New York City!
4:00 p.m. Concert
Performers from Arinas Music Studio, Dance Designs, NJ Woodwinds and Viva La Diva present a sizzling array of Piano, Broadway, and Russian Songs, followed by the dazzling Hip Hop Crew and Singing Squad from Dance Designs. You will leave the theater with your foot-tapping and heart singing!
Special guests are rising stars Jazz Pianist, Isaac Oksman, and Jazz Saxophonist, Isaac Ketter from FLHS. Come hear them and get their autographs - while you still can!!!
6:00 p.m. Concert
Classical enthusiasts will be thrilled by this concert by musicians from NJ Woodwinds and Believe in Music Studio. Experience the sophisticated music of flute, oboe, clarinet, classical saxophone, strings , trumpet and piano.
Special guest are trumpet virtuoso, Daniel Osorio, the newest addition to the Fair Lawn School District Music Faculty, and clarinetist extraordinaire, Alexander Knox, Band Director of the Summer Music Enrichment Program at FLHS.
8:00 p.m. Concert : The Incredibles
Experience the best of the best Fair Lawns extraordinarily talented musicians who have received honors and recognition for their musical achievements. Yes, they walk among us! Winners of competitions and auditions, these performers will razzle dazzle you with their virtuosity and musicality, acquired from years of hard work, and their love of music. New York City's top collaborative pianist, Craig Ketter will perform with the students, and All-Bright Dance Troupe will present their nationally-awarded dance number.
