Sleeping Dogs is a string-band trio performing traditional acoustic party music from the Southeastern U.S. on fiddle, banjo, guitar, mandolin and bass with vocal harmonies. Their performances include a mix of early 20th century blues, rags, hokum, and old-time songs and tunes.
This talented group out of Durham NC, will be performing a house concert at the home of the Treadaways on Saturday, March 10th. Dinner and conversation at 6 PM, with the concert to follow. The evening will include great barbecue, great music by artful performers in an intimate setting, and great conversation with mutual lovers of acoustic music. Just bring a vegetarian side-dish or dessert to share. Beer and wine are welcome.
